  2. There is a skills shortage in the hospitality industry
  3. For some roles it is possible to get a working visa but this takes a few months (for culinary roles properties will consider applying for a visa for you but this can take a few weeks/ months)
  4. If you have a European passport you can work in Ireland
  5. The minimum wage in Ireland is 12.70 Euros.
  6. The working week is 40hrs.
  7. Note you are taxed on your salary this varies based on earnings.
  8. Very few businesses provide accommodation.  Accommodation would be the largest expense if  living in Ireland.
  9. Ireland is seen as a very safe country but of course one has to be careful.
  10. The people are known to be very welcoming.
  11. Ireland is very multicultural.
  12. The weather is the country’s charm. You can experience 4 seasons in a day.
  13. Great for outdoor activities and famous also for the fun in the evening – arts & culture is everywhere.
